Guali Jatra of Mahaprabhu : Nagar Parikrama of Mahaprabhu
On Jyeshtha Shukla Dwadashi tithi, Champaka Dwadashi rituals are observed. According to the traditions, after the completion of Sakaladhupa and Bhogamandapa rituals, Bhitara Alata lagi gets completed and Mahasnana is performed near the deities and are adorned in new clothes. Then Chandan is applied on the bodies of the deities provided by the Ghatuari servitors. After that, Madhyanna dhupa rituals get completed. After the completion of the rituals, bride and groom (Sri debi and Sri Madana Mohan) visit Ratnasinghasan and a Bandapana is offered and they receive the Aagyanmala and the Mahajana servitors make the deities sitted upon the palanquin parked near the Jhulana Mandap. Bimanabadu servitors carry the palanquin on their shoulders and make a circambulation around Sri Mandir and then by receiving Panti Bhoga at Saraghara and Ananda Bazar visit Sri Nahar (King's Residence) through Singhadwar amidst the enchanting sounds of gongs, bells and trumpets and colourful lights.
At Sri Nahar, Gajapati Maharaj recieves the divine couples and make them seated on a cot placed earlier. Pujapanda offers Pitha prepared by the Mahasuar servitors through Panchopachara. Then Prasadalagi , Vandapana , Alata and Chamara are offerd to the Deities. Then the Sri Nahara gets cleaned up, all the servitors and other devotees go outside and the Singhadwar gets closed. Then Gajapati Maharaj offers Vandapana and offer Bheta (ceremonial gift). After the completion of the rituals, the Singhadwar gets opened up.
According to the traditions of Shrimandir,after the marriage rituals,the bridegroom need to go to their friends house.Shri Jambeswar recently went to Shrimandir obeying Mahaprabhu’s invitation for his marriage.Therefore Mahaprabhu went to Shri Jambeswar’s temple after his own marriage
On Champak Dwadashi,Mahaprabhu first visits his Chief Servitor Gajapati Maharaj’s palace and then proceeds towards Jambeswar Temple through Balisahi.On the way,the bridegroom are offered Panti(Light Meals) outside some Mutts and the houses of other individuals.When the procession will reach Jambeswar Temple,the news will be given to Shri Jambeswar and he will send Paan,Betel Nut,Sacred thread and other holy items for the welcome of the bridegroom.When the sevak of Jambeswar will reach to Mahaprabhu,Karpura Alati,Prasad Lagi,Bandapana will be conducted by Pujapanda.

Mahajan sevaks will take Madanmohan and Sridebi to the Garbhagruha of Jameswar Temple.There special cushions called “Tuli” wil be arranged and the bridegroom will be seated on them.Then Puja will be arranged and Bhoga will be brought.After that Pujapanda will conduct Prasad Lagi.Bije Kahali will be played during this.Then Bhoga Manohi will be offered in Pancha Upachar Bidhi.After the completion of food offering Karpura Alati and Bandapana will be done amidst the playing of Bije Kahali.
After the cleaning of the Garbhagruha,Mahajan sevaks will take the bridegroom and seat them on a Brushaba(Bull,Vehicle of Mahadev) amidst the playing of Bije Kahali.After sitting for some time on Brushaba,the bridegroom will be taken and placed back in the palanquin.The return procession for Shrimandir will begin.During the return journey,Panti Bhoga is also offered at some places.
Actually,Mahaprabhu is the representation of Social life.The marriages in sevak families are conducted in the exact same manner,and this tradition is alive till today.
