It has also been clearly illustrated in Bhagbat Gita that "Basanasi Jirnani Yatha Bihaya, Nabani Gruhanti Naroparani, Tathaa Sarirani Bihaya Jirnaa, Nyaanyani Saanjati Naabani Dehi." which means as the man wear new clothes leaving the old one, so also the soul leaves the body and resides in another body when the man dies.
