Lord jagannath's bathing and bathing principles
Bathing has an important role to play in maintaining health, cleanliness and cleanliness.  According to Ayurvedic scriptures, bathing has many benefits.  First of all, it purifies the body and the soul.  It also increases life expectancy, alleviates labor, destroys sweat and feces, increases body strength and weight, strengthens the heart and senses, purifies the blood, and fires.  Bathing also relieves drowsiness and sin, increases fertility and results in satisfaction.  So bathing has a special role to play in our daily life in view of all these benefits.  Just as we observe other daily rituals, including this bath, every day, the Sreejivas in the temple also observe the same daily rituals as we do.  So since they are wood idols, their bathing policy is symbolically performed without their direct bathing.  Let's find out how their bathing policies are performed.

The bathing rituals of the devotees in the temple are mainly divided into two parts.  E.g.

 1) Bathing performed in daily leave policy
 2) Special baths performed in special circumstances

In addition, on the day of the full moon, the special bathing rituals of the devotees are performed in the bathing mandapa, which will be presented in another diagram.

 1) Baths performed in daily leave policy: -

The day-to-day policies of the Sreejeevas are followed by the holiday policy after Mailam and Tadpalagi.  The practice of brushing and bathing the srijis who sit on the throne of gems is called ‘vacation’.  The current register of temples in the current Sree Mandir mentions that the scheduled time of the holiday policy is 8 am, which was previously scheduled to be held between 8 am and 9:30 am.  The exact timing of this policy depends on the preceding policy.

In this holiday policy, the bathing ritual is performed first after the completion of the toothpaste policy of the devotees.  For this purpose, three gallons of water are placed in front of the three Thakurs for bathing.  The water is brought from a well in front of Mother Vimala's temple.  Then three octagonal mirrors are placed on three generations.  These mirrors are placed in front of the three Thakurs so that their reflection will fall on these mirrors.  Water is kept in three silver jars for bathing.  Then sandalwood, aloe vera and yogurt are applied to the aforementioned mirrors.  Then the water mixed with camphor is poured on it and the bathing rituals of the devotees are performed.  Then Chandanalaga grabs a flower and the servant in question shakes the limb of the Lord and shakes the flower in a hidden coin and throws it in the Achman Kunda.  This bathing ritual is performed in a special bathing mantra.  During the process, the astrologer Khuri Naik of the temple stood there and listened to the astrological judgments of the Thakurs of that day.  If there is a constellation born that day, he informs the astronauts about it, and the constellation closes after the noon incense policy.  Garuda's bathing policy is followed by the completion of the Shreeji's leave policy.

 2) Special baths performed under special circumstances: -

There is a special policy that is observed in the Mahasnan Sree Mandir for various reasons.  A special officer appointed by the Odisha government gave a report in 1955 stating the reasons for the bath and how it was observed.  The reasons for this and the associated rules are given below.

 A) If a dog enters the shrine or a corpse or bone appears in the vicinity of the shrine, the policy of the shrines will be closed and the policy tools will be taken out.  Then from Jaya Vijay Gate to the inner pond, it will be well washed and lime water will fall on it.  Then the pale makeup will wipe on the gemstone throne and the great bath will rise under the throne.  Before that, all the anger will be washed away.  All the food prepared for the meal, all the watered items, the pots, the pans, the bamboo, etc. will be taken out and the kitchen will be home again.  Sun worship and gatekeeper worship will be held again, and then all other policies will be followed from where the policy was stopped.

 B) If a person defecates or spits in the area from the inner wood to the throne, or spits, then the inside and outside are washed and lime is poured, and the florist servant Thakur is worshiped and then the big pig is worshiped.  Then the Thakurs take a great bath and do other rituals.

 C) If a person reaches out and touches the devotees during the visit or at other times, the person is fined and the bath is spent.  As the Mahasnan grows, so do other policies.

Each Mahasana is worshiped in the sixteenth treatment, and after the Mahasana Puja is over, the policy moves forward from the time it was before.
